Aquamatrix is comprised of an exceptional group of people that do an exceptional job in both the mining and general contracting industries. From management to employees, everyone works for the same common goal of safety.
Training combined with experience sets the foundation of our approach of operating in a safe environment. In fact, safety is a part of our employee’s everyday protocol and procedures.
Aquamatrix’s safety program is best summarized by the president, Ron Hamilton, “Our industry is governed by MSHA regulations to keep our employees safe but we believe that we have a moral obligation to do so. We teach personal responsibility to all of our employees and that they have the right to say “NO” to any direction or request that violates our safety policy or that could be considered unsafe. Aquamatrix has an Experience Modifier Rate (EMR) of 0.73 and a ZERO lost time accident record since inception in 1999.”
He also adds that the safety program works best because it is implemented by the individual employee. “Aquamatrix takes pride in our record of inspections by MSHA. Our record when compared to our competitors in the industry can only be explained as “unheard of.” Our safety department is led by a seasoned safety expert that holds no less than a Certified Mining Safety Professional accreditation. Most of our safety professional’s time is spent in the field where the work is performed.”
